Margaret L. Gledhill, 83, of Avon, went on to be with the Lord on November 11, 2006. She was born to Loren and Amanda Shady on March 10, 1923 in Anderson, Indiana. She had been employed in clerical positions with McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, MO , and Bill KuhnÂ’s Chevrolet. In her later years she was happy to be a homemaker. She was married 40 years to Albert Gledhill, who preceded her in death.She is survived by her son Richard G. Armstrong (wife Gloria).She was also preceded in death by her brothers John L. Shady and Robert R. Shady.Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 4-8 pm at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Road.Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, at 10:00 am at the funeral home.She will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens beside her husband.
